The Academic Society aims to bring together practitioners and researchers in the field of corporate communications.
The Academic Society for Corporate Management & Communication is a joint initiative of leading companies and universities with the aim of actively shaping the future of corporate communications through joint research and knowledge sharing.
The initiative was founded in 2010 by the universities of Leipzig, Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Münster and the Humboldt University of Berlin together with the chief communication officers from leading German corporations. Today, more than 30 German and international corporate partners support the work of the Academic Society.
The Academic Society is part of the Günter-Thiele Foundation for Communication and Management.
