The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated changes in almost all areas of society, creating new opportunities but also threatening the success of corporate communications. How can communication experts tell the important trends apart from the unimportant ones?
For the second consecutive year the Academic Society for Management & Communication presents the Communications Trend Radar. It is the only interdisciplinary and scientific study on the most important trends that will influence communication management in the near future. It analyzes changes in the areas of society, management, and technology. For 2022, the team led by the Professors Stefan Stieglitz (Business Information Systems) and Ansgar Zerfass (Communication Management) identified the trends Language Awareness, Closed Communication, Gigification, Synthetic Media, and Cybersecurity.
