Ludger Heidbrink is Professor of Practical Philosophy at the University of Kiel and Visiting Professor of Corporate Responsibility at the Reinhard Mohn Institute for Management at the University of Witten/Herdecke. He is also director of the Kiel Center for Philosophy, Politics and Economics, co-director of the Gustav Radbruch Network for Environmental Philosophy and Ethics and director of Corporate and Consumer Ethics at the Center for Business Ethics within the German Network for Business Ethics (DNWE). Heidbrink studied philosophy, German and art history and received his doctorate at the University of Hamburg in the field of philosophy.
His work focuses on the ethics of responsibility, moral theory, political philosophy, and economic, business and consumer ethics.
