Lea Knabben as new employee in Communications & Administrations
She will support the team of the Academic Society’s team. In her new role as Head of Research Management & Knowledge Transfer, she will be responsible for coordinating research projects within the Academic Society and overseeing knowledge transfer. She also serves as the primary point of contact for various dialogue and networking formats and coordinates in collaboration with our partner companies events such as the Leadership Forum and Hermes Dinner.
Knabben pursued her studies in communication and media science at the University of Hohenheim, University of Leipzig and Université de Toulouse 1 Capitole (France). During her academic years, she gained practical experience in innovation and market research through positions at companies such as yaez verlag, Mercedes-Benz Group and Porsche AG. Following the completion of her master’s degree, she spent several years working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Communication and Media Studies at the University of Leipzig. Additionally, she supervised research projects at the Center for Research in Financial Communication. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the “Institutionalization of the Communication Function in Startup Companies.” Notably, she is the recipient of the FGS Global financial communication fellowship.
