As project manager of the Academic Society, Lina Sommer oversees projects such as the AI competence test COMM-AIT and the AI future workshop and supports the team in the office in the areas of communication and event management. She is also the Foundation Manager of the Günter Thiele Foundation, where she is responsible for partner management, administration and the digitalization of the foundation.

After her academic career, she took on the role of Executive Director at an arts and media agency in Halifax, Canada. Most recently, she worked as Communications Lead for a Europe-wide project at Social Impact gGmbH that implemented the establishment of national competence centers for social innovation.
