Professor Stefan Stieglitz holds the SAP Endowed Chair in Information Systems and Digital Transformation at the University of Potsdam. He is also the Director of the Competence Center Connected Organization, which is dedicated to enhancing the exchange of knowledge and innovation between academia and the business sector. Prior to his current role, Professor Stieglitz conducted research and taught at the universities of Duisburg-Essen, Potsdam, and Münster. His research examines the influence of digital communication and collaboration on individuals, businesses, and society at large. His areas of interest include the automated analysis of communication data from social media, examining how people come to accept new technologies, and the design of digital environments.

Professor Stieglitz has been a member of the Academic Society’s Executive Board and Scientific Advisory Board since January 2023.
