Tina Mühlbauer Appointed Head of Communications & Operations at the Academic Society for Management & Communication

Tina Mühlbauer has been appointed Head of Communications & Operations at the Academic Society for Management & Communication. In this role, she oversees the overall coordination of the Academic Society, including leading the team and managing both strategic and operational aspects of internal and external communications.

She brings more than 18 years of experience in corporate communications, spanning both agency and in-house roles. After positions at the PR agencies Ketchum and Schwartz PR, Tina led external communications for the international automotive technology company Forvia across the DACH region. Following a shift to the healthcare sector, she applied her expertise to internal and external communications for four Helios hospitals, including the Leipzig Heart Center.

Her professional focus includes technology and innovation communications, as well as the development and execution of integrated communication strategies and campaigns. She has also held responsibilities in value-driven communications, serving, for example, as a Diversity & Inclusion Officer.

In her new role, Tina brings this wealth of practical experience to further develop the Academic Society, particularly in strengthening the strategic direction of communications and facilitating the transfer of knowledge between communication research and professional practice.
