Lea Knabben as new employee in Communications & Administrations

Lea Knabben as new employee. She has been hired for Research Management & Knowledge Transfer. Lea Knabben will support the Academic Society team in various projects. In her new role, she is responsible for coordinating research projects and overseeing knowledge transfer. Additionally, she serves as the primary contact for dialogue and networking formats. Moreover, she coordinates events with partner companies, including the Leadership Forum and Hermes Dinner.
Knabben studied communication and media science at the University of Hohenheim, University of Leipzig, and Université de Toulouse 1 Capitole in France. During her studies, she gained practical experience in innovation and market research through positions at companies such as yaez verlag, Mercedes-Benz Group, and Porsche AG.
After completing her master’s degree, she worked as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Communication and Media Studies at the University of Leipzig. In addition, she supervised research projects at the Center for Research in Financial Communication. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the “Institutionalization of the Communication Function in Startup Companies.”
Notably, she received the FGS Global financial communication fellowship. We look forward to working with her and wish her a successful start in our team!
