Dr. Christine Viertmann is executive director for the Günter Thiele Foundation and project manager for the Academic Society for Management & Communication.

She studied Communication and Media Studies and French Literature at the Universities of Leipzig and Paris IV-Sorbonne. She was a research assistant and post-doc at the Chair of Strategic Communication as well as project manager of the research project “Value Creating Communication” of the Academic Society for Management and Communication. She published her dissertation “The scapegoat in public communication” in 2015.
