Dr. Michelle Wloka heads the research network and knowledge transfer initiatives at the Academic Society. She has also been an integral part of the “Communications Trend Radar” research project as a research associate since January 2023. Her duties involve project conceptualization and trend scouting within management, marketing, media, and communication sectors.

Wloka studied media management and public relations at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, Vancouver Island University in Canada, and Newcastle University in the UK. From 2011 to 2012, she completed a one-year PR traineeship in Hamburg at the agency be:public relations. Until 2020, she served as a research assistant at the University of Leipzig’s Chair of Business Administration, with a focus on marketing, and earned her doctorate with a thesis entitled “Perspectives on Sustainability: Language Use in Corporate Sustainability Reports.”
