Title: Neuroscience concepts & technologies for communication management
Project duration: 2023 to 2024
Neurotechnologies are constantly evolving, especially through AI, which also has potential for applications in the corporate context. The data collected can be used to derive emotional and cognitive states for corporate communications.
Neurotechnologies are technologies for recording and interpreting, among other things:
Behavioral data: Facial expressions, eye movements, gestures and body movements, speech, tone of voice, keystrokes and mouse movements
physiological data: Heart rate, skin temperature, skin reaction
Neurotechnologies in communication management
The use of neurotechnologies offers a wide range of opportunities for corporate communications. For example, organizations can analyze audience responses to communications, improve the decision making and stress management for managers, or optimize the effectiveness of skills transfer in training and coaching.
Leipzig University is investigating to what extent neurotechnological approaches can be used in corporate communications and what potential they offer.
